The Publisher
This role is designed for someone based at a publishing house who is not usually actively involved in the editorial process. They manage journal data and editor roles; they maintain an overview of papers under processing and can intervene where necessary. They also have full access to production and publication steps.

A user has forgotten their password
If a user has already registered an account, but forgotten their password, click on the link below the login boxes that says “forgotten your password?”. Then enter your email address to follow the steps mentioned in the message and reset your password. If they don't receive the email, contact JAMS staff.
Can I have several accounts or perform several roles at the same time?
Depending on the structure of your journal, you can take on several roles. Contact the JAMS team to request any changes.
My journal is (not) set to double-blind review - where can I change that?
Go to the ‘Journal Management’ page, use the pencil icon to modify all journal settings. Remove or add the tick in the ‘double-blind’ box.
I do not want suggestions for reviewers for my journal(s) - where can I change that?
Click on 'Journal Management' (under the “Publishing” tab in the left-hand menu). Click on the pen symbol next to the journal and remove the tick for “Allow suggested reviewers”. Note that you can only modify journals you have set up yourself.
How do I add a new Special Issue?
To set up a Special Issue, got to the “Special Issues” page in your “Publishing” Menu. Click the blue button “Add New Special Issue” to add a new one or click on the pen symbol next to existing ones to modify them. Not that you can only modify those you have set up yourself. Enter all the information required in fields with an asterisk. You can change this information at any later point.
Where can I define the editor for a Special Issue?
The procedure is the same as adding Editorial Board members, only that you also need to select the name of the Special Issue you want that person associated with and the role they take on. Click on Editorial Boards and then on the blue button “Add New Editor” or modify an existing one.
How can I check a specific paper?
You can skip peer review by clicking on the Display Submissions tab in your Publishing menu (on the left of this page). Then go to the manuscript ID of the paper in question. Use the tools at the top of the page to upload new manuscript versions or change data. You can scroll down to see the current status, including lists of invited reviewers.
